Burnout

A state of physical, emotional and mental exhaustion caused by prolonged stress, often work-related. Counselling helps you recover and build sustainable boundaries.

Burnout develops gradually and involves three dimensions: exhaustion, cynicism or detachment, and a sense of reduced effectiveness. It’s typically tied to chronic workplace stress but can also come from caregiving or other long-running demands. Recovery needs both rest and addressing the conditions that produced it.
