Individual Counselling
Individual Counselling Online, A Safe Space to Make Sense of Your Feelings
Individual counselling offers a private space to talk through what feels heavy, confusing or hard to carry alone. Whether you are feeling overwhelmed, emotionally stuck, or affected by difficult life experiences, the work is centred on understanding what is happening and helping you find more manageable ways forward.
Who this is for
You do not need to be in crisis or have everything clearly defined before seeking support. Individual counselling may be a good fit if you are:
- Carrying ongoing stress or emotional overload
- Caught in repeating patterns you do not fully understand
- Struggling with difficult feelings, reactions or relationship patterns
- Trying to process life events that continue to affect you
- Feeling stuck, flat or unsure where to turn
- Looking for a calm space to talk without judgement
What individual counselling can help with
This work may support you if you are experiencing:
The aim is not to rush you toward a fix. It is to help you understand what is happening more clearly, process what needs attention, and move toward responses that feel steadier and more workable.
How It Works
Leisa works in a trauma-informed, person-centred and integrative way, creating a space that feels safe, respectful and responsive to your experience.
Understand what has brought you here
Sessions begin by exploring your current concerns, what is feeling hard, and what kind of support you are looking for.
Notice patterns and connections
Together we gently look at patterns in thoughts, emotions and relationships, and what may have shaped them over time.
Find steadier ways forward
The focus shifts to building practical, realistic responses that feel more aligned with the life you want to move toward.
The pace is collaborative. There is no pressure to share more than feels right.
What sessions are like
The first session focuses on your current concerns, what support you are seeking and whether the fit feels right for you. Important information about privacy, fees and counselling will also be discussed at the beginning.
Ongoing sessions are tailored to what you need. Some people come for short-term support around a specific issue. Others choose longer-term work to explore deeper patterns and changes over time.
All sessions are delivered securely via video telehealth, attend from a private, comfortable space anywhere in Australia.
