Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT)

A therapy approach that treats emotions as a source of information and change, helping you access and work with them productively.

EFT sees emotions as adaptive signals, they point to what matters and what needs attention. The therapy helps you notice, understand, and productively use your emotions rather than suppressing or being overwhelmed by them. There’s a version for individuals and a well-known version for couples (EFT for Couples, developed by Sue Johnson).
